Faceted Search is enabled by Endeca® Guided Navigation® technology. Triton has developed an exclusive JavaServer™ Faces (JSF) portlet that provides the user with a highly-customizable Endeca user interface.

| Endeca® Guided Navigation® |
With Endeca Guided Navigation, users are able to use facets to navigate through large search results by selecting query-refinement categories. Users also can expand search criteria with "Find Similar" type queries. Endeca empowers users to find the right information faster.
The portlet can be customized by the portal user in several different ways:
- Guided Navigation can appear on the left, right, top, or bottom of the portlet
- Guided Navigation can appear as hyperlinks or drop-down lists
- Auto-Spell Correction (a.k.a. "Did you- mean?") can be turned on/off
- Statistics (number of records matching each facet) can be turned on/off
- Geo-spatial range filter can be turned on/off
- Specify maximum results per page, and maximum result pages
