 Triton is a dynamic, advanced technology solutions and services provider supporting customers in the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC), federal civil agencies, such as the Department of State, and various state and commercial entities. Triton's core competencies include information systems; electronic, mechanical and optical designs; and technical services. Triton has worked with DoD and IC customers over the past fifteen years providing full life cycle support of IT systems including analysis, architecture, design, integration, software development/modification, HW/SW implementation, test/ evaluation, operation and maintenance/modernization. Platform capability includes web-based, service oriented, and mainframe architectures. Key system application areas include SIGINT, C4ISR, weapons systems, financial systems, logistics systems and personnel systems. Specialty IT areas include BPR, knowledge management, information assurance, data visualization and warehousing, IV&V, web development, interactive electronic technical manuals, and computer-based training. Specialty technical services areas include acquisition management, logistics, programmatic support, configuration management, financial modeling, systems engineering, training, test/evaluation, and risk management. Triton has designed and built full-up systems such as displays for military platforms, including the electronics hardware and software programming, optical lenses, and mechanical enclosures and holders to survive all military environments.

Our headquarters in Annapolis, MD is located approximately 20 miles from Fort George G. Meade. 

Triton was founded by Board Chairman Ray Kwong in 1994. Originally located in Dunkirk, Maryland, the company provided various services to the federal government including software development, program support, and reselling.

In 1995, Triton acquired the Electron Technology Division of ITT, located in Easton, PA. The 158,000 square foot facility was designated specifically for the development and production of special purpose electron devices, including electron tubes, high voltage power supplies, and integrated sub-systems. The manufacturing of electron tubes has been performed at the Easton facility for over 30 years.

In 1996, Triton acquired the Gain Momentum software product from Sybase, Inc. which became the company's entry into commercial software. The product name was changed to RadBuilder, and development focussed on providing web-enablement and deployability for new and existing customer applications.

In 2010, Triton's headquarters relocated to its present location in Annapolis, Maryland. The company expanded business to support the US intelligence community at the NSA. In addition, Triton expanded business to support the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) at NAS Patuxent River Maryland, MCAS Cherry Point North Carolina, and MCB Camp Lejeune North Carolina.

From 2005-2011, Triton expanded operations to support NSWC Panama City Florida and opened a new office in Panama City. In addition, Triton expanded research & development by engaging with technology partners such as Liferay and ICESoft to provide advanced technology solutions to its customers.
